I’m proud to be a holistic wellness provider!
Your custom integrated massage is a tailored blend of therapeutic bodywork and energy work modalities to best meet your goals, needs, & preferences. In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist, I am a certified Integrated Reflexologist, Reiki Master, and Tuning Fork Practitioner.
With foot reflexology I address the whole body including internal organs, glands, sinuses, musculoskeletal tissue, and lymphatics.
Reiki is a Japanese self-healing technique that channels the universal healing energy through me.
Tuning Fork Therapy involves sound waves to promote balance (each corresponding to a specific chakra) .
Prenatal bodywork includes soothing massage to reduce pregnancy discomforts, enhance the physiological and emotional wellbeing of mother and fetus, and promote a balanced fetal environment.
Lymphatic massage therapy involves very slow movement and very light touch, intended to stimulate the natural movement of the lymph system.
The most profound thing we can have for our own wellness is a minimally processed, low oil, whole foods plant based diet. Learning about animal products and their negative effects changed my life. I obtained my Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition (eCornell) to educate and empower clients.
My shelter dog, Penny Lane is my trusty therapy assistant.
PersonalMy vegan lifestyle blossomed after years of health struggles. Two car accidents left me with chronic and acute neck and back pain. After years taking toxic medications, I read “Skinny Bitch” and watched “Food Matters,” and “Forks Over Knives”.
I took myself off medications, made a lot of dietary changes; greatly decreasing my meat consumption and switching to mostly dairy alternatives.
In the summer of 2013, while trekking through rural Nepal, my husband and I witnessed a family prepare for “backyard slaughter” of a goat. We were deeply effected and responded by eliminating all flesh from our diet.
In September 2016, I participated in the Earthlings Experience which reinforced that any cruelty we supported was too much cruelty. We stopped making excuses and eliminated the remaining animal products in our diets (and lifestyle).
I feel it’s a valuable use of my time to represent the voiceless billions who need us to shine a light on their everyday struggles. It’s not easy work, but it is necessary work.
I’ve been fortunate enough to get to visit some animal sanctuaries, bond with amazing individuals, and campaign for a kinder, more compassionate world with amazing people who inspire me.
